Etäpäivitykset kautta kehittyvät ominaisuudet viimeistelevät kokonaisuuden. Nokian R3 kitkat Teslan 19” vanteilla.

1/2022 jälkeen toimitettuihin Model Y tuli Intelin tilalle selvästi tehokkaampi AMD Ryzen -prosessori, tehokkaampi akku, jolla range kasvoi +10% 507 km -> 565 km (19” renkailla), pitkäikäinen 12V LI-ION akku, tuplasivulasit myös taakse, paranneltu audio ja tuulilasin pyyhkimiin sulatustoiminto. Myös auton kantavuus nousi +45% (390 -> 565 kg).

Teslan virallinen akku- ja voimalinjatakuu voimassa vielä pitkään – aina 3/2030 tai 192 000 km asti - jäljellä yli 100 000 km / lähes 4 vuotta.
