Mitsubishi Lancer

Myyntiin hieman harvinaisempi Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII FQ-330 projekti.

Ostin auton itse huutokaupasta ja otin siitä perän yhteen Evooni. rikkinäinen perä tulee auton mukaan.

Kyseessä on oikea FQ-330, joita ei ihan joka päivä tule vastaan. Näiden arvo on ollut jo pitkään noususuuntainen, ja hyvä Evo 8 -kori on vähän kuin hyvä viini – vuosi vuodelta niitä on vähemmän tarjolla ja kiinnostus kasvaa.

Auto myydään projektina korjattavaksi tai varaosiksi.

Autossa on ollut moottoririkko, jonka vuoksi alkuperäinen moottori on irrotettu. Mukaan tulee rikkinäinen alkuperäinen moottori sekä vaihtomoottori, joten tästä on hyvä lähteä rakentamaan auto takaisin tieliikenteeseen.

Kori on ikäisekseen siistissä kunnossa. Paikoittain on enemmän kulumaa, mutta pääosin kyse on normaalista yli 20 vuotta vanhan auton käytön jäljestä. Pientä korroosiota löytyy, ja konepellissä on maali-/lakkavauriota. Kokonaisuutena kuitenkin hyvä lähtökohta rakentaa hieno Evo takaisin liikenteeseen.

Autosta löytyy myös todella kattava dokumentaatio:

* Alkuperäinen huoltokirja.

* Alkuperäinen myyntidokumentaatio.

* Paljon huolto- ja katsastuspapereita vuosien varrelta.

Edellisen omistajan aikana auto oli lähes kahdeksan vuotta samalla omistajalla ja katsastettu vuosittain ilman hylkäyksiä. Autoon on tehty paljon normaalia ylläpitoa ja huoltoja vuosien aikana.

Korille on myös tehty oikeita korjauksia:

* Helmat ja takakontin alue maalattu.

* Helmojen alta korjattu ja hiekkapuhallettu tarvittavat kohdat.

* Takaluukun siiven kiinnityskohdat korjattu (Evojen tyypillinen ruostekohta).

Mukaan tulee lähes uudet valkoiset Braid-vanteet sekä erittäin hyväkuntoiset kesä- ja talvirenkaat.

Tämä ei ole valmis auto vaan rehellinen projekti seuraavalle harrastajalle. Jos olet etsinyt hyvää pohjaa harvinaisemmasta Evo 8 FQ-330:stä, tässä olisi sellainen.

For sale: a rather rare Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII FQ-330.

I bought this car at an auction with the intention of using the rear differential for one of my other Evo projects. (This can still be negotiated.)

This is a genuine FQ-330, a model you don’t come across very often. The value of these cars has been steadily increasing for years, and a good Evo 8 chassis is a bit like a fine wine – fewer good examples are available every year while demand continues to grow.

The car is being sold as a project.

The original engine suffered a failure and has been removed. The sale includes both the original damaged engine and a replacement engine, providing an excellent starting point for rebuilding the car and putting it back on the road.

The body is in good condition for its age. There are the expected signs of use, some wear and minor corrosion in places, as well as some paint/clear coat damage on the hood. Overall, it is a solid foundation for restoring this rare Evo.

The car also comes with an extensive history file, including:

* Original service book.

* Original sales documentation.

* A large collection of service records and MOT/inspection documents from throughout its history.

The previous owner kept the car for almost eight years, during which it passed its annual inspections every year without any failures. The car has received regular maintenance and servicing throughout its life.

Proper bodywork repairs have also been carried out, including:

* Side sills and the rear boot area have been repainted.

* Necessary areas beneath the side sills have been repaired and sandblasted.

* The rear wing mounting points on the boot lid have been professionally repaired (a common rust area on Evos).

The sale also includes a nearly new set of white Braid wheels, along with summer and winter tyres in excellent condition.
