Autoa on säilynyt mahdollisimman alkuperäisenä. Mukana on myös auton alkuperäinen ja täysin toimiva radiokasettisoitin, joka täydentää autenttisen 1980-luvun Mercedes-tunnelman.

Auto ollut aluksi taksissa Itä-Suomessa, minkä jälkeen se on ollut melko vähäisessä käytössä isälläni yli 30 vuoden ajan ja minulla noin 16 vuotta. Auto on museorekisterissä ja olen säilyttänyt sitä talvisin lämpimässä tallissa.
