Volkswagen Transporter Kleinbus 1970

Kolmen omistajan vuoden 1970 Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter, mittarissa noin 120 000 km. Vuonna 2019 asennettu uusi AS 41 -moottori.

Kyseessä on erittäin alkuperäinen ja rehellinen yksilö, jolla on ollut uudesta lähtien vain kolme omistajaa.

Ensimmäinen omistaja piti autoa vuosina 1970–1973 ja työskenteli torikauppiaana. Toinen omistaja oli nykyisen omistajan ystävä, ja hän omisti auton vuodesta 1973 vuoteen 2001. Nykyinen omistaja on omistanut auton vuodesta 2001 lähtien, eli omistusaikaa on kertynyt lähes 26 vuotta.

Nykyisen omistajan aikana autoa on käytetty pääasiassa kesäkuukausina, kuten myös edellisen omistajan aikana.

Nykyinen omistaja on ajanut autolla omistusaikanaan noin 16 000 km.

Autoa on vuosien mittaan huollettu tarpeen mukaan. Huoltoihin ja korjauksiin on kuulunut muun muassa kytkimen, jarrujen, ohjauksen ja muiden mekaanisten komponenttien kunnostusta. Suurempi mekaaninen työ tehtiin vuonna 2019, jolloin alkuperäinen moottori vaihdettiin.

Tilalle asennetun AS 41 -moottorin rakensi suomalainen VW-moottoreihin erikoistunut Wasastjerna, ja moottorilla on ajettu asennuksen jälkeen noin 12 000 km. Moottorin tarkemmista teknisistä tiedoista voidaan antaa lisätietoja kiinnostuneille ostajille.

Auto on säilyttänyt suuren osan alkuperäisestä luonteestaan ja pitkälti alkuperäisen näköisen maalipintansa.

Korissa on erilaisia ikään liittyviä jälkiä, kulumia ja korjattuja kohtia, kuten tämän ikäiseltä autolta voi odottaa. Merkittävin korjaus sijaitsee vasemmalla edessä, jossa kori vaurioitui toisen auton peruutettua siihen.

Maalipintaa ei ole kosmeettisesti entisöity auton ikää peittämään. Auto näyttääkin rehelliseltä ja suurelta osin alkuperäiseltä yksilöltä, ei juuri entisöinnistä valmistuneelta näyttelyautolta.

Sisätilat:

Sisätilat ovat hyvässä, alkuperäisen oloisessa kunnossa ja niissä on tallella aikakaudelle tyypillinen ilme ja tunnelma.

Takaosa on tyhjennetty, ja auto on tällä hetkellä rakennettu pakettiautoksi eikä retkeilyautoksi/camperiksi.

Pohja:

Auton pohja on edelleen pääosin alkuperäinen.

Eri osissa näkyy ikään liittyvää pintakorroosiota ja patinaa, kuten vuoden 1970 autossa on odotettavissa. Pohjaa ei ole paksusti massattu tai kosmeettisesti entisöity, joten alkuperäisen rakenteen todellinen kunto on hyvin nähtävissä.

This is a very original and honest example that has had just three owners from new.

The first owner owned the van from 1970–1973 and was a market trader. The second owner was a friend of the current owner and kept it from 1973 until 2001. The current owner has owned it since 2001, making this a long-term ownership of almost 26 years.

During the current ownership the van has been used mainly during the summer months, as it was by the previous owner.

The owner has driven approximately 16,000 km during his ownership.

It has been maintained as required over the years, including work to the clutch, brakes, steering and other mechanical components. The major mechanical work was carried out in 2019, when the original engine was replaced.

The replacement AS 41 engine was built by Finnish VW engine specialist Mr Wasastjerna and has covered approximately 12,000 km since installation. Further details of the engine specification can be provided to interested buyers.

Exterior:

The van retains a great deal of its original character and largely original-looking paintwork.

There are various age-related marks, imperfections and repaired areas, consistent with a vehicle of this age. The most significant repair is at the front left-hand side, where the bodywork was damaged when another vehicle reversed into it.

The paintwork has not been cosmetically restored to hide its age, and the van presents as an honest, largely original example rather than a freshly restored vehicle.

Interior:

The interior is in good, original-looking condition and retains its period character.

The rear compartment has been stripped out and is currently configured as a van rather than a camper.

Underside:

The underside remains largely original.

There are visible age-related surface corrosion and patina to various components, as would be expected on a 1970 vehicle. It has not been heavily coated or cosmetically restored underneath, allowing the condition of the original structure to be seen.

A genuine three-owner 1970 VW Type 2 with almost 26 years of continuous ownership by the current owner. It retains its original character, much of its original paint and its original-style interior, while benefiting from a replacement engine built in 2019 by a respected Finnish VW specialist.
