Focus oli minulla päivittäisessä käytössä marraskuulle 2025 saakka, kunnes ostin toisen samanlaisen. Tosin 250 000km vähemmän ajetun.

Myynnissä oleva Focus huilaili talven ja on vielä seisontavakuutuksessa. Pohdiskelin, että mitä minä sille teen?

Alkuperäisenä ajatuksena oli kopistella talteen uusimmat osat, kone ja loota. Laittaa sitten koppa kierrätykseen.

Lopulta kuitenkin päätin kokeilla myydä uskollisen Focukseni kokonaisena. On siinä kuitenkin jollekin autoa vielä toviksi aikaa.

2024 hitsailtiin pojan kanssa kopasta helmat ja hiekkapuhallettiin ruostepaikat pohjasta. Epoksia pohjalle ja massat pintaa.

Uutta osaa on laitettu sitä mukaa kun on ollut tarvetta. Parin vuoden sisälle olen vaihtanut mm. vasemman puolen etu umpion, jarrupalat eteen, uudet takajouset ja -iskarit.

Normaalit huollot tietysti tapiksi.

Minun vuotuisilla ajoilla, talvirenkailla ajelisi hyvin yhden talven ja kesärenkailla pari kesää.

Kesärenkaat alumiinivanteilla ja talvirenkaissa peltivanteet.

Kattotelineet saa auton mukana, jos sellaiset itselleen haluaa.

Focuksen keulilla on lisäpitkät, jotka tulee tulee auton mukana.
