Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG Kompressor "Edition 79" Special with BRABUS Widestar bodykit and interior.

This G-Wagen is officially called the G55 AMG KOMPRESSOR "Edition 79". That would be in reference to the fact that Mercedes started selling these guys to the public in 1979. Naturally, this is a limited edition, so Mercedes made only 70 of them.

What makes the "Edition 79" so special? For starters, there's the "designo magno alanite grey" matt paint finish. Not normally available on the G-Class, "designo magno alanite grey" paint is a shade normally found on the SLS AMG. It looks nice, even if the name is really contrived. There's acres of carbon-fiber trim and, of course the Edition logo "1 out of 79"
