Inline 5 engine, fully rebuilt to stock specification with factory K-Jetronic fuel injection.
The chassis has been rebuilt to an OEM+ standard, including the largest front brakes available for this Audi generation. Inline 5 engine, fully rebuilt to stock specification with factory K-Jetronic fuel injection.
The chassis has been rebuilt to an OEM+ standard, including the largest front brakes available for this Audi generation. The suspension was modified to accommodate airbags and achieve maximum low ride height. The front features custom-built coilovers by PK Coilovers (Poland), while the rear uses TA Technix coilovers and a 4-way air suspension system managed by Airride.
The interior was preserved for over 30 years in a barn-find donor car and remains almost entirely factory-original, down to the smallest details. The only exception is the steering wheel, which has been replaced with a Nardi Torino that complements the interior perfectly. Special attention should be given to the custom air tank setup in the trunk.
The exterior has received more modifications than the interior. The car is painted in Toyota 6V4 Spruce Mica with hand-painted pinstripes by Jarmo Nuutre - One Eyed Morse Kustoms (Estonia). Additional upgrades include Audi 200 headlights and front lip, while original Auto-Plas rear window louvers complete the exterior appearance.
The wheels are custom-built 16x9-inch three-piece rims created from original 14-inch Audi “Waffle” wheels. The goal was to retain a strong OEM appearance while incorporating hidden hardware. They are fitted with Falken tires.
Multimedia upgrades are subtle and focused on preserving the original character. The car retains a Becker factory head unit with Bluetooth integration, Hertz front speakers, and rare vintage Pioneer TS-1680 coaxial speakers in the rear.
A documentary covering the restoration process, titled Road of Perfection, was nominated for Best Independent Film at the International Motor Films Award. The film can be viewed on YouTube. Instagram: @andrew_ltws
