Vuonna 2011 Frankfurtin autonäyttelyssä esitelty BMW:n hybridikonsepti laitettiin tuotantoon kolme vuotta myöhemmin. Rohkeat ja merkin urheilullisia malleja kunnioittavat muodot säilytettiin myös tuotantomallissa, jossa alusta oli alumiinia ja matkustamon koripaneelit ja ovet hiilikuituvahvistettua muovia.

Keskimoottorisen urheiluauton etupyörät saavat voiman sähkömoottorista. Nelivetoisen hybridin painojakauma kannustaa urheilulliseen ajoon ja voimavarat riittävät 4,4 sekunnin kiihdytykseen sadan kilometrin tuntivauhtiin.

Tämä Kristall Weiss -valkoinen BMW i8 on valmistunut tehtaalta loppuvuodesta 2014 ja ensirekisteröity Ruotsiin maaliskuussa 2015. Auto on tuotu Suomeen 2018, jolloin sen osti Teemu Selänne (TS-Promotion Oy), joka piti autoa kolme vuotta. Nykyinen omistaja on omistanut auton keväästä 2024.

Varusteisiin kuuluvat muun muassa vaalea täysnahkaverhoilu. Autoon kuuluvat sekä alkuperäiset että jälkikäteen hankitut Vossen -alumiinivanteet renkaineen.

Kuljettajan kynnyslistassa Selänteen signeeraus.

Auto on tuotu ja rekisteröity Suomeen elokuussa 2018.

BMW:tä on huollettu säännöllisesti ja huoltohistoria on dokumentoitu sähköisesti. Viimeisin huolto on tehty 31.7.2025 / 55 000 km -kohdalla.

The BMW i8 hybrid concept presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 was put into production three years later. The bold shapes that respect the brand’s sporty models were also retained in the production model, where the chassis was made of aluminum and the cabin body panels and doors were made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

The front wheels of the mid-engine sports car are powered by an electric motor. The weight distribution of the four-wheel drive hybrid encourages sporty driving and the power resources are sufficient for 4.4 seconds of acceleration to 100 km/h from zero.

This Kristall Weiss white BMW i8 was completed at the end of 2014 and first registered in Sweden in March 2015. The car was imported to Finland in 2018, when it was purchased by ice hockey player Teemu Selänne (TS-Promotion Oy) who kept the car for three years. Current owner has owned the car since april 2024.

The equipment includes, among other things, light full leather upholstery. The car includes both original and subsequently purchased Vossen aluminum wheels with tires.

Driver’s treshold list is signatured by Selänne.

The car was imported and registered in Finland in August 2018.

The BMW has been regularly serviced and the service history is documented. The last service was done on July 31, 2025 / 55,000 km.
