Vuonna 1989 Land Rover esitteli Range Roveriin 3.9 litraisen version Roverin V8:sta. Vaihteistona oli joko ZF:n nelivaihteinen automaatti tai LT77 -viisivaihteinen manuaali.

Isäni on myynyt tämän auton uutena 19.06.1990 työskennellessään 1980- ja 1990 -luvun virallisella Land Rover -maahantuoja- ja jälleenmyyjä Autorep Oy:llä.

Plymouth Blue -sävyisen, Vogue -varustellun Range Rover Voguen ensimmäinen omistaja oli Seppo Laaksonen Ky Orivedeltä, joka piti autoa vuoteen 1994 saakka. Kahdella seuraavalla omistajalla auto oli vuosituhannen vaihteeseen saakka, kunnes viimeisin omistaja Y.Mäkinen osti auton 03.04.2000. Hän piti autoa 26 vuotta kuolemaansa saakka.

Auto on vuosien saatossa esimerkillisesti huollettu ja huollot on dokumentoitu alkuperäiseen huoltokirjaan n. 150 000 km saakka. Myös alkuperäinen käyttöohjekirja-kansio ja takuuvihkonen ovat tallella.

Hankimme auton syksyllä 2026. Auto seisoi lämpimässä autotallissa vuodesta 2007, joka selittää pienen ajomäärän. Autossa erityistä on sen korin ja rungon erinomainen alkuperäiskunto. Auto on ruostesuojattu varhaisessa vaiheessa ja säilytetty tallissa.

Myös Winchester Grey -veluuriverhoilu on täysin alkuperäisessä kunnossaan.

Pitkän seisonnan jälkeen auto huollettiin perusteellisesti ja kunnostettiin kattavasti. Polttoainelinjat puhdistettiin ja moottoriöljyt, suodatin sekä perän ja jakovaihteiston öljyt uusittiin. Automaattivaihteiston öljyt tarkistettiin ja jäähdytinnesteet uusittiin. Sytytystulpat uusittiin.

Alumiinisten koripeltien pienet hapettumat sekä taka-alaluukku korjattiin ja maalattiin. Takayläluukun kehykset ja lukot uusittiin (lasi yhä alkuperäinen). Etuspoileri, spoilerin valot ja kuraläpät uusittiin.

Alkuperäiset alumiinivanteet kunnostettiin ja niille asennettiin uudet Toyon AT -renkaat alkuperäisessä koossa.

Katsastettu lokakuussa 2026. Auton saa halutessaan museorekisteröitynä.

Range Rover sijaitsee Vantaan Luhtaanmäessä. Esittelyt sopimuksen mukaan.

In 1989, Land Rover introduced a 3.9-liter version of the Rover V8 engine for the Range Rover. Transmission options included either a ZF four-speed automatic or an LT77 five-speed manual.

My father sold this car new on 19 June 1990 while working at Autorep Oy — the official Land Rover importer and dealer during the 1980s and 1990s.

The first owner of this Plymouth Blue Range Rover Vogue was Seppo Laaksonen Ky, based in Orivesi, who kept the vehicle until 1994. It then passed through two subsequent owners until the turn of the millennium, when the most recent owner, Y. Mäkinen, purchased the car on 3 April 2000. He owned the car for 26 years, until his passing.

Over the years, the car has been maintained in an exemplary manner, with service records documented in the original servicebook up to approximately 150,000 km. The original owner’s manual folder and service book are preserved.

We acquired the car in the autumn of 2026. It had been stored in a warm garage since 2007, which explains the low mileage. A notable feature of this vehicle is the excellent original condition of its body and chassis— the car has been protected from rust in its early years and it has been kept in warm garage.

The Winchester Grey velour upholstery is also in completely original, great condition.

Following a long period of storaged unused, the car underwent a thorough service and comprehensive refurbishment. The fuel lines were cleaned, and the engine oil and filter, as well as the oils for the differentials and transfer case, were replaced. The automatic transmission fluid was inspected, and the coolant was renewed. The spark plugs were also replaced.

Small mistakes of the aluminum body panels were repainted, and the lower tailgate was repaired and repainted. The frames and locks for the upper tailgate were renewed (the glass remains still original). The front spoiler, the lights integrated into the spoiler, and the mud flaps were also renewed.

The original aluminum wheels were refurbished and fitted with new Toyo AT tires in the original size.

Mot/Tüv inspected in October 2026.
